Collaboration Policy

This policy establishes the principles and framework for collaborations with external academies or organizations. The aim is to enhance the quality, reach, and impact of Islamic education and da’wah initiatives while upholding academic and ethical integrity.
1. Scope of Application
This policy applies to collaborations involving:
- Joint development and delivery of Islamic courses.
- Guest lectures, workshops, and webinar series.
- Research and academic exchange.
- Co-hosting conferences and events.
2. Guiding Principles
Collaborations must adhere to the following foundational principles:
2.1 Authentic Islamic Teachings:
All content must be firmly rooted in the Quran and Sunnah and align with the principles of Islamic scholarship.
2.2 Academic Integrity:
Content must prioritize scholarly accuracy, avoiding misinformation, bias, or unverified claims.
2.3 Ethical Standards:
Collaborations must not associate with entities that promote unethical or Islamically impermissible practices.
2.4 Inclusivity:
The collaboration should respect the scholarly positions adhered to by Mentorsa Academy, particularly in matters of valid differences of opinion within Islamic jurisprudence.
3. Partner Evaluation Criteria
Prospective partners will be evaluated on the following:
- Alignment with Mentorsa Academy’s vision, mission, and values.
- Academic credentials and reputation in Islamic studies.
- Adherence to Islamic principles and scholarship.
- Ethical and financial transparency.
- Commitment to mutual benefit and shared goals.
4. Roles and Responsibilities
Collaborative partners and Mentorsa Academy will have the following responsibilities:
4.1 Mentorsa Academy’s Responsibilities:
- Oversight of content to ensure compliance with Islamic guidelines.
- Provision of technical, administrative, and marketing support for collaborative projects.
- Contribution of expertise, resources, or speakers to enhance the program’s quality.
4.2 Partner Responsibilities:
- Adherence to Islamic principles and academic integrity.
- Transparent sharing of resources, expertise, and financial information.
- Collaboration to create content free from copyright or ethical violations.
5. Process of Collaboration
5.1 Proposal Submission:
External entities must submit a detailed proposal to at info.mentorsa@gmail.com, outlining the nature, objectives, and scope of the collaboration.
5.2 Evaluation:
The academy’s executive council will review the proposal based on the partner selection criteria.
5.3 Agreement:
A formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) or agreement will outline:
- Roles and responsibilities.
- Project timelines.
- Financial terms.
- Dispute resolution mechanisms.
5.4 Implementation:
Collaborative activities will proceed under joint supervision, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon terms.
5.5 Evaluation:
Regular feedback and a post-collaboration review will assess the success and impact of the initiative.
6. Financial Arrangements
- Financial terms, including revenue sharing or funding responsibilities, must be transparently documented in the MoU.
- All monetary exchanges must align with Islamic financial principles, including avoiding interest (riba) and ensuring ethical practices.
7. Conflict Resolution
Disputes arising from collaborations will be resolved amicably through mutual consultation. If unresolved, they may be referred to an independent mediator acceptable to both parties.
8. Termination of Collaboration
Either party may terminate the collaboration under the following conditions:
- Ethical, academic, or financial violations occur.
- The objectives of the collaboration are no longer aligned.
- Both parties reach mutual consent to terminate.
9. Policy Review and Amendments
This policy will be reviewed periodically to reflect the evolving needs of the academy and its partners. Any amendments will be communicated promptly to all stakeholders. Through adherence to this Collaboration Policy, Mentorsa Academy aims to establish meaningful partnerships that promote authentic Islamic education and benefit the global Muslim community.
